The experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) did not see any sign that Iran's nuclear program was aimed at creating nuclear weapons. The statement came from Rafael Gross, General Director of the Agency in an interview with CBS News.

"We have not seen that the program was aimed at this (creating nuclear weapons), but at the same time they (Iranian authorities) have not responded to some very important issues," said the interlocutor of the TV company.

Gross added that IAEA experts have always "honestly assess the situation" over the Iranian nuclear program. The head of the agency noted that in their reports there was no information about the experiences of having nuclear weapons by Iran, as well as attempts to obtain it.

The head of the IAEA also said that Iran may resume enriched uranium production for several months, for which it has industrial and technological capabilities. Grossi noted that he reaffirmed his call to return to the negotiating table and find a "technical reasonable" solution to the Iranian nuclear program, adding that there is now an opportunity to do so.
