Guardian. The United Kingdom will transfer 350 air defense to Ukraine

The British authorities will transfer 350 modern anti-air defense missiles to Kiev, for the first time the interest of frozen Russian assets was used, according to The Guardian.

The United Kingdom has spent 70 million pounds ($ 95.2 million) to customize Asraam air-air missiles for land release. This was the first time that London used its income from frozen Russian assets directly to finance Kiev's military supplies.

Modernized missiles will be launched from Raven air defense systems, eight of which were previously supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and five more will reach Ukraine.
