According to Haykakan Zhamanak, the former mayor of Vanadzor Samvel Darbinyan was arrested. According to the media, there are several detainees, including Sayran Darbinyan's brother Seyran Darbinyan.
The Investigative Committee told Haykakan Zhamanak that a public criminal prosecution was filed against 5 people during paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code (especially large-scale money laundering).
4 people were arrested.
Savel Darbinyan took the head of the Vanadzor community in 1999-2016, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia, the Chairman of the Board of the RPA Vanadzor Territorial Organization.
