RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan had a working meeting with the Director General of the International Labor Organization and with Regional Director of Europe and Central Asia by Beate Andrez.
During the meeting, they touched upon the content results of the 3rd annual International Forum of Social Justice on June 20, which was held within the framework of the "Global Social Justice" process of Armenia's Labor Organization, the ministry said.
"Minister Mkrtchyan stressed that this membership of Armenia once again confirms Armenia's commitment to promote fair, inclusive and dignified conditions in the field of work, jointly with international partners.
The Minister and the regional director of the ILO also discussed possible directions of deepening cooperation, including:
Protection of labor rights,
To promote decent work, the development of social partnership development and joint development mechanisms.
The parties agreed to continue the constructive dialogue and implement joint actions to expand the agenda of cooperation with the ILO, "the statement said.
