RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who was in Turkey during a working visit, sent a number of messages to the Armenian-Turkish relations and the "Cross-Khachkuk" project in his speech during a meeting with the local Armenian community.
Pashinyan started his speech, emphasizing that both the visit or his meeting with President Erdogan are very important. Pashinyan touched upon the importance of direct bilateral talks between the two countries and reminded that negotiations were held before the settlement process through third countries. Pashinyan said that there is a good opportunity to move forward. Nikol Pashinyan also noted that it is important to hold such a meeting in the context of international developments and said that there is an opportunity to develop new relations within this framework.

Noting that it should not have exaggerated expectations about the process, Pashinyan said. "Three years ago, even such contacts were considered exaggerated expectations, Pashinyan should be ensured that the European Political Community summit will be held in Armenia and emphasized that Erdogan will also convene in Yerevan.
Pashinyan, who often emphasizes the importance of direct contacts, said that the Armenian community of Turkey may also play a role in the development of relations between the two countries, and in this context he mentioned Hrant Dink and remember his efforts.

On the other hand, Armenia has laid the "Peace Cross" project on the agenda of the international community, which will open all transport routes, including Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran.
Pashinyan also made an interesting comparison, answering the question about the hostile language used by Turkish nationalist circles, saying: "The peace node is not an obstacle for the Turan road, the way is ready if it is waterless, we can all drink this water together."
In his speech, Pashinyan also stressed that we are in the new era and said: "Turkey is not a threat to Armenia, and Armenia is not a threat to Turkey."
At the end of the speech, Pashinyan thanked President Erdogan for the invitation.
