Putin repeats, Russia is ready to mediate between Iran and Israel

Russian President Vladimir Putin has confirmed Russia's readiness to mediate between Iran and Israel in a conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Bean. This was reported by the Kremlin's press service.

"Vladimir Putin has confirmed Russia's readiness to promote dialogue between the conflicting parties, informing about the contacts with a number of foreign leaders in this regard."

The parties expressed deep concern about the continued escalation of the Iranian-Israeli conflict.

"It simply came to our notice then. Both sides expressed deep concern about the ongoing escalation of the Iranian-Israeli conflict, which is fraught with the most negative consequences for the whole region, "the statement said.

Putin and Al Nahyan stressed that the rapid stopping of the hostilities between Israel and Iran is imperative. "The imperative of the rapid end of hostilities and the intensification of political and diplomatic efforts has been emphasized, in the interests of resolving controversial issues related to Iran's nuclear program," the statement said.
