As the RA Investigative Committee has already informed, in 2024 On October 13, around 09:30, the body of Aghasi Serozhi Dallakyan, a soldier of the same military unit, who was on combat duty, was found with a gunshot wound in the chin area in the concentration area of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense. Regarding the case, on the same day, in the Ninth Garrison Investigative Department of the RA Criminal Investigation Department of the RA Criminal Code, a criminal proceeding was initiated under Article 155, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, the preliminary investigation of which was assigned to the investigative team. Dallakyan died as a result of committing suicide.
In particular, during the preliminary investigation, factual data were obtained to the effect that the platoon commander of the same military unit, the lieutenant, being the chief of the sergeants and soldiers by virtue of his rank, together with one of the regular conscripts of the same military unit, violated the rules of military duty, voluntarily left their firing range of the military unit's security station with weapons. position and in another firing position of the precinct together, they humiliated the honor and dignity of Aghasi Dallakyan, a soldier of the same military unit who was on combat duty. As a result of this, being in a desperate situation, on the specified day, while performing the duties of an observer in the same firing position, the latter fired one shot in the chin area with the "AKM" type rifle attached to him and committed suicide.
On the basis of the obtained factual data, a motion was submitted to the supervising prosecutor to initiate a public criminal prosecution against the above-mentioned two persons included in the military service, which were granted. The latter were arrested. The platoon commander was charged under Article 540, Part 2, Clauses 1, 2, and 3 of the RA Criminal Code, Article 522, Part 2, 1, 2, and with clauses 3, and for ordinary conscripts - with clauses 1 and 3 of part 2 of Article 540 of the RA Criminal Code, with clauses 1 and 3 of part 2 of Article 522 of the RA Criminal Code. to the court regarding choosing detention as a preventive measure against them, which were satisfied.
The preliminary investigation is ongoing, all necessary actions are being taken in order to find out the full circumstances of the case, possible involvement of other persons. A person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven by a legally binding court verdict in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code.
