"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
As a result of the active pressure of the Armenian authorities, former Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan, as we wrote, refused to run for president of the Artsakh president, and the deadlines set for the presidential election were released. May 31 was the deadline, as the term of office of the President expired on May 21, after which a candidate had to be nominated within 7 days, and then elected a president. However, we were told that the lawyers of Artsakh, both the Constitution and the Legislation on the Procedure, have concluded that the next 7-day deadline has been valid after each missing period, as long as the Artsakh parliament has not made a choice. Therefore, the parliamentarians are in search of a candidate again. It is true that they have washed their hands out of Shahramanyan, as he was warned by direct text that any process that took place in Syunik was "breaking" not only on his shoulders after his election. It should be reminded that the director of the National Security Service Armen Abazyan is the leader of the government threats.
