Marca presented an award to Lionel Messi. The captain of the Argentina national team, who played for Barcelona and PSG, received the award as the footballer who won the most titles in the history of football. In total, the striker has 46 team awards, as well as 56 individual awards. He currently plays for Inter Miami.
"Thank you very much for this recognition. I know that this award was prepared with great love. I will find a place for him because he deserves it," Messi said after receiving the award.
"I was able to realize all my dreams and achieve much more than I dreamed of. God gave me all that. I was able to realize the biggest dream of a football player: to win the World Cup. During my career in "Barcelona" I managed to win many titles. I also won titles at PSG and now at Inter Miami. I continue to do everything to achieve more," Marca quotes Messi as saying.
