On June 2, Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union Delegation to Armenia Vasilis Maragos.
Minister Sargsyan welcomed Ambassador Maragos, emphasizing the close and effective bilateral cooperation, which is constantly expanding in various spheres. Maragos thanked for the warm reception, reaffirming the European Union's support for reforms.
During the meeting, the work carried out within the framework of the EU visa liberalization process, including the implementation of legislative reforms and biometric passports, were also discussed during the visit to the current programs of the police and the provision of new EU support.
