Eight countries have agreed to increase oil production by 411 thousand barrels per day from Open. This is stated in a statement published on the organization's website, Lenta.Ru reports.
The document states that this decision has been made on the basis of healthy development forecasts in the oil market and a low level of raw material reserves in the world.
OPEC stressed that the increase in oil production can be temporarily suspended due to the market situation. This approach aims to maintain the stability of the oil market.
Earlier it became known that Brent's August futures cost, which reached $ 65.43 a day ago, fell over $ 3,21 to USD. At the same time, the price of WTI oil has decreased to $ 60 for barrel.
