The Government of the Republic of Korea is concerned about China's decision to ban ships through the Yellow Sea, where the exclusive economic zones of the two countries are being cut down. This was reported by Yohap news agency, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On May 21, Newsweek reported that the China Naval Security Agency's Regional Office was banned from 08:00 to 20:00 local time on May 27 at a special "zone of transitional events" at the scope of exclusive economic zones.
The "banned area" is located in the eastern part of the "transition zone". In this zone, there have been aimed at conducting military exercises.
In 2000, China and the Republic of Korea decided to create a "transitional measures zone" instead of the demarcation line, the resources of which could use together.
