On May 17, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan visited a number of settlements of Aragatsotn region to get acquainted with the damage caused by the hail.
The Minister was in Talin community's Aragatsavan and Arten and Ashtarak community settlements, got acquainted with the volume of damage, to discuss their concerns with gardeners.
Gevorg Papoyan was accompanied by the governor of Aragatsotn Sergey Movsisyan, Talin community head Tavors Sapevyan, the head of Ashtarak community Tovmas Shahverdyan.
"The purpose of my visit is to personally get acquainted with the situation on the spot, as well as to discuss with you what we can do to avoid such problems in the future. I would like to assure you that the state will not leave you alone, and the government has already developed programs to avoid such situations in the future, "he said.
Gevorg Papoyan informed the residents of the communities that the information on the damage will be collected, and after the summary of the results will be discussed further support.
During the conversations, they also touched upon the program of the introduction of the insurance system in the field of agriculture, the support provided for hamphes, which reaches 50-75%.
During the visit, the Minister answered the questions of the residents, gave clarifications about the issues raised and their possible solutions.
