The Greek government has launched a lawsuit against Adidas due to a show organized near Acropolis, which, according to the government, violated the law on the protection of antiquities. The show introduced the logo of Adidas and sneakers in the Acropolis scene.
Minister of Culture Lina Mendon has stated that the show took place without prior permission and the Acropolis was used for commercial purposes. "It seems like an adidas shoe to the Acropolis," he said, Reuters reports.
Adidas responded by claiming that he received all the necessary permits and did not have available Acropolis images in the show. The Ministry of Culture has also begun to investigate whether the permission of the flight of the drover has been properly given.
