K. The 60th European Adult Karate Championship has been completed at the Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. This was reported by the IAEA.
The championship was supported by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports in cooperation with the Karate Federation of Armenia and international partners. Jeanne Andreasyan and Deputy Minister Hasmik Avagyan were awarded to the final fighting of the European Championships and awarded the winners.
Representatives of Armenia won two bronze medals at the European Adult Championship. Gor Nersisyan (60 kg) and a 60 kg weightlature were standing at the third degree of the honor.
"I have experienced emoticulous emotions that cannot be explained in words. I came to this championship after the gold. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the finals, but I have made my most forces in this fight so I can win a bronze medal. Last year, I won a gold medal at the European Youth Championships, which was again in the history of Armenian karate. I am glad that I was able to win the first medal of Armenia in the European Championships in the adult struggle, "Gor Nersisyan said.
About 1,000 athletes in the world took part in the 60th European Adult Karate Championship.
