Syria will sign an agreement with Turkey

Syria plans to sign an agreement on electricity imports from Turkey to 400-K-Kilovoli power supplies between Turkey, Syrian State News Agency reported on Sunday's statement of the country's Energy Minister.

According to Minister Mohammed Al-Bashir, Syria is also working to set up a gas pipeline, which will connect the Turkish city of Kilis and the Syrian city of Aleppo in the north of the country, Reuters reports.

"The gas pipeline will allow 6 million cubic meters of gas to gas to Syria, which will improve the energy situation in the country," he added.
