The Belarusian Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of the verdict of the verdict of three people accused of cooperation with the Ukrainian special services and preparing a terrorist attack. The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic stated this, Interfax reported.
According to the investigation, the three defendants gathered and provided information to the special services of Ukraine in 2023, as well as other tasks that could harm the national security of Belarus. In particular, two people tried to blow up the railway in Vitebsk region. This crime has been described as an attempt to make a terrorist act and experience damage to rail transport.
The first instance court sentenced the defendants to 11, 20 and 25 years in prison.
Earlier it was reported that the Minsk Court sentenced to "Maya Cravi Belarus" remotely in prison.
