The Brazilian Supreme Court has condemned former President Fernando Color De Mello through domestic arrest, electronic bracelet, given his health, G1 portal reports, citing Judge Alexander de Moraine.
"Although Fernando Color De Mello has been sentenced to eight years, his / her health detention, age, and special treatment, as I have decided several times in such cases," Morayis quotes the G1.
According to the document, the court took into account the difficult health of the 75-year-old president, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, as well as chronic insomnia and bipolar disorder.
Judge Di Morayis rejected another request for lawyers to recognize corruption.
