Aliyev considers the beginning of the border delimitation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia to be encouraging

The beginning of the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border gives hope for the signing of a peace agreement between the two countries. According to the TASS agency, the president of Azerbaijan announced this during the opening ceremony of the hydroelectric power plant located on the Araks River on the Iran-Azerbaijan border, which was also attended by the president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi.

"Currently, the process of determining the borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia is underway, it is a hopeful event, it inspires hope that after a long break between Azerbaijan and Armenia, a peace treaty can be signed," Aliyev said.
The Azerbaijani leader also welcomed Tehran's support in signing the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
