The death toll from an explosion in Iran has reached 40

The death toll from the bomb blast near Iran's Bandar Able Abbas has reached 40, said Mohammad Ashur, Governor of Hormozgan, Iranian IRB state television reported.
 
"40 people have been killed in an explosion injuries," he said.
 
Messages about the emergency in Shahid Rajah were reported on Saturday afternoon.

According to the latest data, 1241 people were injured. The Iranian government spokesman said that the incident took place in the warehouse of chemicals, but the reason for that is unknown.

According to the New York Times, the cause of the explosion could be a substance used as a solid rocket fuel component.
