Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shamihal claims that in the last two weeks, Kiev has received $ 1.4 billion from Norway for ammunition and military training.
"$ 1.4 billion has been allocated for artillery and military training in the last two weeks," he said in his Telegram, commenting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Styor in Washington.
In addition, according to Shmihala, Ukraine has received two additional financial assistance packages to strengthen and rehabilitate the health care system. Shemihal added that he also discussed with his colleague the joint production of weapons.
The Norwegian government stated on April 4 that it plans to increase assistance to Kiev in 2025 almost $ 5 billion to $ 8.1 billion. It was noted that the priority will be given to the acquisition of anti-aircraft defense systems, artillery ammunition and drones, as well as strengthening the country's naval capabilities. Only three days later, on April 7, Norwegian Prime Minister staged that Oslo would provide an additional 335 million euros for Kiev's ammunition.
