Dispute over passenger transportation. What was the reason for the theft in Isakov Avenue (video)

As a result of urgent operational and evidentiary actions carried out promptly in the investigation department of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, as a result of operational-investigative measures taken by the police, the 2024 the case of murder committed in Yerevan on October 14.

In particular, on October 14, a report was received that there is a stabbed citizen on Tsovakal Isakov Avenue in Yerevan, before reaching the Argavandi intersection, and an ambulance is needed. On the same day, at 11:57, another report was received from the ambulance substation, according to which a man died as a result of a stabbing at the Argavandi intersection.

Regarding the incident, a criminal proceeding was initiated in accordance with Article 155, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, in the investigative department of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, Malatia-Sebastia Administrative Region.

An inspection of the incident site was conducted, during which traces of blood, a knife, a bag, syringes, and a container filled with a yellow-green vegetable mass were found and taken. The electronic media containing the video recordings of the video recording devices of the scene of the incident were taken, and the existing video recordings were subjected to a detailed examination.

People who witnessed the incident were interrogated. At the gas station located on Isakov avenue, the scene of the incident was also examined, as well as the video recordings of the video recording devices, clothes with blood stains were also seized from the gas station.

Forensic, forensic genetic, forensic, forensic biological and forensic chemical examinations were appointed.

According to the factual data obtained by the preliminary investigation, in 2024 On October 14, between 11:00 and 11:30, a 41-year-old resident of Armavir marz, while carrying out passenger transportation from Echmiadzin city to Yerevan in his Mercedes C 180 car, took a passenger from "Zvartnots" settlement of Armavir marz as a passenger. a 36-year-old resident of the same marz. Near the bridge on the road leading from Argavand village to Isakov avenue in Yerevan city, an argument arose between the latter over the issue of demanding more than the stipulated transportation fare, during which they started shouting mutual curses at each other.

Then the argument continued outside the car, during which the 36-year-old man, with the intention of causing physical injury to the driver of the said car with a knife he had previously taken with him, hit the latter's elbow and tried to run away. However, the driver, pursuing the 36-year-old man, with the intention of killing him illegally, struck him with a sharp cutting-piercing object on the right and left frontal surfaces of his chest, causing injuries incompatible with life.

On the basis of the obtained sufficient facts, a public criminal prosecution was initiated against the 41-year-old man under Article 155, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code. A decision was made to arrest the accused, who is at large, in order to bring him to court, which was assigned to the police.
