At least 27 people were killed and 12 were injured in the terrorist attack in India's northern Jamu and Kashmir region, NEWS18 reported, citing police sources.
"The Terrorist Group of Lashkar-in-Taiba attacked the tourist group of tourists in the valley of South Kashmir, killing 27 people," the channel reported.
It is noted that the responsibility for the attack has taken on the group called "Resistance Front".
Two-three armed men opened an irregular fire on tourists. The attack took place in the Hayestar Valley, which is known for its forests, pure lakes and lawn.
According to the doctors of the hospital near the city of Storagam, 12 people were injured in the terrorist attack, their condition is stable.
