The number of crimes committed with the use of firearms has increased by 18.7 percent on average in recent years.

According to the data of 2022-2023, 27 out of 67 cases or 40.3 percent were committed with legal firearms in 2022, and 44 out of 94 cases or 46 in 2023. 8 percent. Of the 71 legal weapons, 67 were hunting weapons with furrows and sledgehammers, and only 4 were combat pistols. By the way, in many cases, cases of crimes committed with firearms are publicized, and upon further investigation, it turns out that in fact, pneumatic guns were used instead of firearms. or a gas gun," said Ghazaryan, noting that their acquisition in one case does not require a permit at all, while in the other case there is an available permit procedure.
