US President Donald Trump expressed condolences over the death of Pope Francis.
"Retrieve peace, Francis, May God bless him and all those who loved him," wrote the White House.
Earlier, the US Vice President said that he would remember Pope Francis at the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic for his sermon, which was beautiful.
