"Since our statement of the Liberation Day, many leaders and business leaders have applied to me, asking me to reduce tariffs," said Trump, saying that "they should have the mistakes of the past." The President said that the United States hopes to "restore his wealth" and "create real reciprocity" in commercial relations.
On April 2, Tramphone announced the setting customs duties for 185 countries and territories. Russia is not on this list. The 10% universal tariffs came into force on April 5, individuals from April 9.
