During a meeting in Paris, American officials said they would like to see a full ceasefire in Ukraine during weeks. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources. The interlocutors agency added that Washington expects significant progress in the near future to stop the conflict.
Sources also noted that the participants of the meeting agreed to work to achieve that goal.
On April 17, French President Emanuel Macon met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Special Envoy Steven Whitcoff. According to the Elysee Palace, these "constructive talks" have helped "orient" in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
