On April 17, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Kristos Sofianpoulos.
Welcoming the Ambassador, Arman Yeghoyan noted that Greece is an important partner for Armenia both at the level of bilateral relations and as a member of the EU. In this context, Arman Yeghoyan mentioned and appreciated the implementation of the Twinning program aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Armenian legislature in cooperation with the Greek and Italian parliaments.
The chairman of the commission also spoke about the importance of EU visa liberalization process for Armenian citizens.
The Greek Ambassador highlighted the deepening of bilateral cooperation in various fields, the expanding Armenia-EU relations.
