The United States is ready to set 245% customs duties for imports from China. This was reported by the press service of the White House.
The White House has stated that most of the countries in the US customs duties are "already in negotiations" to normalize the situation and make new trade transactions. Beijing did not negotiate.
"As a result of China's return steps, it now faces the goods imported to 245% of customs duties from the United States," the statement said.
On April 2, US President Donald Trump imported a new system of imports for 185 countries. The base rate of all imported goods was 10%, and for individual countries it was significantly higher for 34% China, 46% Vietnam and 20% of the European Union.
