The Japanese Honda Motor will be transferred from Japan to the US market, as well as the possibility of transporting leading models from Canada and Mexico plants to the United States in terms of imports, Nikkei reports.
"Honda will run from the production of CIVIC hybrid cars for the country's American market (USA-ed.). Production started in February in Saitama Factory (Saitama Prefecture), but in June it will be transported to local production, "reports the sources familiar with the situation.
About 3,000 points of this model were produced in Japan in March 2012, the newspaper notes.
"Honda has started to consider the production of its leading models from Canada and Mexico to the United States after the Trump's administration set an additional 25% customs duties for all cars imported," the article said.
