The Algerian authorities have decided to expel 12 French diplomats. This was reported by Le Figaro, citing French Foreign Minister Jean-Nelel Baro.
"The Algerian authorities asked our 12 employees to leave the Algerian for 48 hours," the minister quoted the minister.
According to Le Figaro, the suspects are administrative and diplomatic staff related to the French Ministry of Internal Affairs. The head of the Foreign Policy Department added that Algeria is deporting diplomats in response to "three Algeria citizens suspected of committing crimes in the French territory." The newspaper clarifies that they were detained on April 11.
According to Barron, this step of Algeria will not go unanswered.
