A gang of armed robbers has carried out a daring robbery at a famous jewelry store in Paris

French police are looking for armed robbers who attacked a jewelry store on one of the most prestigious streets of Paris on Saturday. According to the French media, their target was the exclusive boutique of Harry Winston, whose owner is also called "The Jeweler of the Stars".

Paris police said the armed robbers arrived and left on motorbikes, opening fire in the street without harming anyone. A video broadcast by BFM-TV shows the men in black leaving on two motorcycles.

The luxury boutique was cordoned off as police investigators went in and out Saturday afternoon. The Paris prosecutor's office, which is leading the investigation, named Avenue Montaigne, where Harry Winston's dazzling store is located, as the scene of the robbery, but did not confirm that the jewelry boutique was the target of the robbery.
