Kazakhstan tests numeric entry to Baykonur

The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Operation of Kazakhstan (MDIAI) will finalize the online platform for digital access in Baykonur after a pilot start. The press service of the department informed TASS about this.

"In February 2025, the test regime of" Baykonur "online was launched to provide e-permissions to the city. A meeting was also held with the participation of representatives of the developers and the Baykonur City Administration.

According to the department, in early 2024, the online platform was put into pilot operation at the Zenit-M Space Missile Complex at the Baykonur Space Station, which is under the jurisdiction of the Kazakh side.

The Russian side was offered to integrate into this platform for permissions to allow the remaining objects to the Baykonur complex under its subordination.
