In the case of the 15 servicemen who died in the military shelter of Azat village, in the court session held on August 23, by the decision of the General Jurisdiction Court of the First Instance of the Gegharkunik Marz, RA, the preventive measure of detention chosen for the defendants Gor Aghekyan and Marlen Sargsyan in the same criminal proceedings was changed and 3 months of house arrest was chosen for them and absence ban alternative failure measures.

Lawyer Norik Norikyan informs that by the decisions of the RA Appellate Criminal Court of October 7 and 11, the appeals for a special review brought by the authorized representative of the victims and the public prosecutor have been completely satisfied, the decisions made by the Court of First Instance of Gegharkunik Marz, RA have been annulled, and Arrest was again chosen as a preventive measure against Gor Aghekyan and Marlen Sargsyan, accused in the criminal proceedings.
