Russia will not be obliged to provide military assistance to Iran in case of US strike on a new partnership agreement, but efforts to resolve the situation, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said.
"This agreement is not a contract of a military bloc, so in case of the scenario you mentioned, Russia is not obliged to provide military assistance.
However, the agreement also contains other articles related to the development of military-technical cooperation and military cooperation.
"Such cooperation is actively developing," Rudenko said, addressing the Russian Federation and Iran's Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement in the State Duma.
