On the occasion of 2024 On October 13, a criminal proceeding was initiated in the Ninth Garrison Investigative Department of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia under Article 155 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, the investigation of which was assigned to the investigative team. During the preliminary investigation, necessary and urgent investigative and other administrative actions were performed. In particular, an examination of the scene and the body was carried out. Necessary test samples were obtained from the corpse, a forensic medical examination of the corpse was appointed.
Tasks were given to the employees of the RO departments of the RA Ministry of Defense, the police department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs to carry out operative-investigative measures. Necessary documents were received from the unit, test samples were received from servicemen who performed the service, decisions were also made to appoint forensic medical examinations.
A number of co-workers of the victim, representatives of the officers were questioned. The preliminary investigation continues, all the necessary administrative and evidentiary actions are being carried out in order to find out the reasons and circumstances of the incident.
