Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro demands the immediate release of those of his compatriots who have been sent to Salvador prison.
The President called the imprisonment of 238 Venezuelan migrants in El Salvador.
He noted that not only lawyers but also the Catholic priests have been forbidden to see prisoners. The President stressed that "this unfair violation of human rights and migrants' rights is similar to the persecution of the Jewish people in Nazi Germany."
Maduro noted that thousands of solidarity in Caracas and other cities of the country have taken place with the families of Venezuelan Migrants in the United States.
