In four months, Ukrainian Armed Forces mobilized thousand captives

From late November 2024, the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were replenished with a thousand captors. In total, a little more than 8,000 convict was mobilized. This was announced by the head of the punishments of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine Eugene Gorgobets.

"To date, more than 8,000 men and women have joined the ranks of combat units, and now about 900 applications are being discussed," Cubrinform quotes.

According to Gorobets, these people mainly joined the ranks of "Da Vinci" and several other brigades.

The law authorizing their mobilization has entered into force on May 17 2024.
