Argentina sees RA's efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus. Ambassador of Argentina to the RA NA Speaker

On May 13, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to the Republic of Armenia Rafael Enrique González Aleman.

The RA National Assembly informs that congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Alen Simonyan wished Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Aleman success in the implementation of his high mission and expressed his belief that it will contribute to the rapprochement and strengthening of relations between Armenia and Argentina.

"I am happy to record that there is a high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Argentina. An atmosphere of mutual respect and trust has been formed between our countries, and Armenia is interested in deepening relations with Argentina in all directions," said the head of the parliament.

Rafael Enrique González Aleman documented the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries, highlighting the role of the Armenian community in Argentina in the cultural and social life of the Republic of Argentina.

Referring to Armenia-Argentina inter-parliamentary relations, the interlocutors highlighted the role of friendship groups and mutual visits in the development of cooperation between the two countries.

The security situation in the South Caucasus, the process of regulating Armenia-Azerbaijan relations were discussed at the meeting.

Alen Simonyan noted that Armenia is doing everything to establish peace in the region and relies on the support of all international partners in this matter.

"Argentina sees the efforts of the Republic of Armenia in establishing peace in the South Caucasus. We certainly support this process and we hope that it will be implemented soon," the ambassador noted.
