Today, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with EU Deputy Secretary General Simon Mordu and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Magdalena Grono.
According to the Azerbaijani media, the current state and prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Jeyhun Bayramov informed the guests in detail about the situation in the region and the realities in the region. He said that Azerbaijan carries out large-scale rehabilitation and construction works in the liberated territories, as it is actively engaged in humanitarian demining.
Bayramov stressed that despite the progress in the process of normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, the provision of territorial claims to Azerbaijan and the country's rapid weapons are a threat to progress on the peace agenda, "the Azerbaijani media wrote.
