The United States considers the EU's participation in the negotiations on Ukraine

The European Union must be involved in the acquisition of a peace agreement for Ukraine, as Russia wants the sanctions imposed by the community. This was reported by American officials on this European partners, according to Bloomberg, citing sources.

According to the agency, Washington recently notified Brussels that "the priority is to stop hostilities in the conflict zone and discuss issues such as Ukraine's security." That step can "trust allied countries."

They fear that the United States will try to deal with without the participation of European leaders who can weaken Ukraine or Europe's security. Such concerns have become more active on Tuesday, when the leaders of the Russian Federation and the United States had a telephone conversation, BLOOMBERG said.

So far, US President Donald Trump "greatly excludes Europe's participation" in talks with Ukraine and Russia, reads.

Earlier, the head of the EU Foreign Policy Service said that the community is looking for an opportunity to join the talks on Ukraine, but has not yet seen it. According to him, the EU, in particular, is trying to influence the American side, "sounding arguments that Russia can use."
