"Manushyan Week" ended today at the final conference, which was held at the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts after M. Mashtots. Guests were present, from the RA President's Office, the NA and the Government, as well as ambassadors and Manushyan.
RA Deputy Minister of Education and Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador to Armenia Daniel Danielyan made speeches in the official part of the conference Vasilis Maragos, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Armenia, N.G. Olivie Dunkotini.
In their speech, the speakers referred to the phenomenal species of the hero, emphasized and highlighted the new revelation of the multi-layered image of the famous Armenian fighter warrior and the strengthening of Armenia's relations.
The image of the Armenian Misak Manushyan, the Armenian Life of France, is united and symbolizes the identical value system of the two peoples. The French Ambassador to Armenia thanked the organizers for honoring Manushyan's memory, emphasized that "the spirit of the hero is immortal in the presence of you."
The director of the Matenadaran Ara Khzmalyan, referring to the French Patriotism of the Armenian-French bridge, called Hovhannes Petrosyan, who served in Napoleon's army for high military merit and Honor Legion. In 1806, Khzmalyan showed the certificate of the Order of the Embassador by the French emperor.
In the second part of the conference, the honorary director of the French National Research Center Danny Peshansky, the director of the "Armenian Heritage Center", the director of the "Armenian Heritage Center" in Valents, the director of the "Unit E Laique" եւ Coordinator Satea Khachatryan, Mr. Valerian Memorial Director Jean-Batist Roman.
The participants of the conference were also toured in the Matenadaran exhibition halls, got acquainted with the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
