On May 17, the DPRK's General Missile Administration test-fired a tactical ballistic missile using a new autonomous navigation guidance system in the Korean East Sea, KCNA (Korean Central News Agency) reported.
The test launch was watched by the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, the media reports. The launch was carried out within the framework of the regular work of the General Directorate of Missiles of the DPRK and subordinate defense research institutes aimed at the rapid development of weapons using high technology, the media reports.
