It reached 150 billion. taxpayers were put under the tax press. 168. am:

At the end of last week, the State Revenue Committee summarized the performance of tax revenues for the first 9 months of this year, trying to create the impression that everything is normal in terms of tax collection, revenues have increased. However, in fact, the underperformance has deepened. In 9 months, a tax gap of around 150 billion drams appeared in the budget.

Let's remind that according to the data of the semester, the gap was 117 billion drams. It increased by another 33 billion in the third quarter.

"In 2024 During the months of January-September, the tax authority collected about 1 trillion 698.6 billion drams of revenue, which is more than the indicator of the same period last year by about 189.1 billion drams or 12.5 percent. The customs body collected about 312 billion drams in revenue, which is less than the indicator of the same period last year by about 60.8 billion drams or 16.3 percent.

About 243.4 billion drams were returned to taxpayers and individuals from the state budget revenues (the indicator does not include the return of 49.6 billion drams of mortgages, which was not deducted from income tax), which is less than the indicator of the same period last year by about 21.8 billion drams or 8.2 percent (2023 37.5 billion AMD is included in the return index).

2024 During the months of January-September, 2 trillion 10.6 billion drams were collected by the tax and customs authorities, of which 243.4 billion drams were returned to taxpayers and individuals.

As a result, the actual performance of tax revenues and state duties amounted to 1 trillion 767.2 billion drams, which is 150.2 billion drams or 9.3 percent more than the indicator of the same period of the previous year.

If we consider the performance of the months of January-September 2023, according to the logic of the calculation of 2024, that is, without deducting the return of income tax from the mortgage loan, then the secured income of the months of January-September 2024 will be more than the comparable indicator of the previous year by 112.7 billion drams or 6, by 8 percent," declared the SRC.

The fact that more taxes were collected than last year does not mean anything. Especially when a large part of the additional revenues is the refundable income tax, which was not included in the budget indicators in previous years. This year they included it in order to create the impression of getting a more lavish budget, but they faced another problem: they cannot provide the planned revenues.
