US President Donald Trump's administration has suspended the license, which allowed foreign companies to make payments for Russian energy resources through the banks under sanctions, ABC News TV reported.
As the representative of the US Department of Finance was confirmed to the TV channel, the term of 8l main licenses expired on March 12.
"The administration is still concentrated on the suspension of combat actions and supporting the end of the war," he said.
"We continue to use our sanctions that remain one of the levers to achieve these goals," he said.
