In the March 1 elections, Abkhazian President Elected Badz Gunba will take office on April 2. The ceremony will take place in Sukhumi, the press service of the President of Abkhazia told TASS.
"The inauguration of the elected President of Abkhazia Badha Gunba will take place on April 2 in Sukhumi," the press service staff said.
The first round of the presidential election, which was attended by five candidates, Adgur Arpressin, Robert Arsban, Oleg Barcum, Badha Gunban and Adgar Khurhumal took place on February 15. None of the candidates has collected the required number of votes to win.
In the second round of March 1, opposition Adgur Gunba was struggled to the highest position in the state. According to the final results of the Central Electoral Commission, 4,1708 voters or 41.54% voted for Artra, and 54954 voters in favor of Gunba or 54.73%.
