Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has criticized the request of British, France and the United States and three other session to hold a closed format of the UN Security Council (Security Council) to discuss uranium enrichment in the Islamic Republic.
"At the request of some countries, holding a closed session of the Security Council is a new and strange practice.
This meeting calls into question the goodwill of those countries that demanded its holding, "the press service of Araghchi quoted.
"We hope that the Security Council will implement its main task, maintaining peace and security, and will not be influenced by some countries," he added.
On March 11, Reuters, citing sources, said that the UN Security Council would discuss the growing water enrichment enriched in the Islamic Republic on March 12.
According to the agency's interlocutors, the meeting will be held at the request of three permanent members of the Security Council, Greek, France and the United States and three countries, Greece, Panama and South Korea.
