The former football player of the Armenian national team played his 100th match in the Italian club on September 18 in the Champions League match against "Manchester City".
"Over the last two years he has been one of the key players in the team, showing his superior skills and character.
A versatile and tactically astute midfielder, Mkhitaryan has shone with his attacking qualities, scoring a number of important goals. He scored seven times, including memorable goals against Milan," the club's announcement reads.
