Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan. The visit will take place on March 12-13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
It is expected that after the meeting of the two leaders, the package of documents will be signed. The length of the RA Limati-Kyrgyzstan border is more than 980 km. Relations between the two countries have repeatedly deteriorated due to the controversial sections of the common border.
The demarcation process continues since 2002.
Earlier, Bishkek said that on February 21, a document was signed on the demarcation of the total part of the border, which should be ratified by the parliaments of the two countries and signed by the presidents. Then the exchange of relevant notes is expected between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
