Against the background of protests in Novi Sad in Serbia, the Minister of Culture Nicolas Selovakich was attacked on the evening of March 7. The statement came from President Alexander Vuchic on his Instagram, according to the RBC. According to BLIC, the Selovakian's nose was broken, sent the Minister to the head scanning.
Minister of Justice Maya Popovic said that Selovakich was attacked in the middle of a street in the Belgrade Center.
"The physical attack on the official, of course, is a consequence of violence, which opposition politicians carry out those who have other views," Popovic said.
"They also attacked Minister Selovakich tonight and think that they have solved the problem.
No, they just once again showed what democracy perceived and how they would treat people who have other views of themselves, "said Vuchic.
